National Republican Congressional Committee Names Kevin Hayslett an “On The Radar” Candidate

Hayslett Earns “On the Radar” Status For His Immediate Campaign Success

Clearwater, FL – Today, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) named Republican small business owner Kevin Hayslett an “On the Radar” candidate for the 2022 election cycle. The program, led by Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy in conjunction with the NRCC, recognizes top Republican candidates looking to flip critical seats across the country. In order to qualify, a candidate must prove the strength of their campaign, from fundraising to organization to viability.

On the Radar” status is the first level of the NRCC’s vaunted Young Guns program that has helped elect over 150 Republican members of Congress since its inception.

Hayslett joins the prestigious program after he posted the highest quarterly fundraising number that any candidate in the race for FL-13 has posted since the cycle began. His $750,000 quarterly haul was also higher than nearly every candidate currently on the NRCC’s “On the Radar” list.

Hayslett entered the 2nd quarter with more cash-on-hand than any of his Republican primary opponents, and after a slew of local endorsements, is now a frontrunner in the race.

“I’m honored to be named to the Young Guns program as an On the Radar candidate as it’s a recognition of the hard work my family, team, and volunteers have put in so far. But we’re just getting started,” said Hayslett. “Our country is at a turning point and there’s a lot at stake. I’m running for Congress to stand up and fight the reckless Biden-Pelosi agenda that is hurting American families, and I’m going to fight every day to ensure we flip Florida’s 13th district.”
